The host of the “2 or 3 with Jesus Meeting” leads off by saying:
“In this meeting let’s eat some goodies and put our heads together to stimulate more change into the image of Jesus Christ. In so doing, we will be cooperating with the work of the Holy Spirit to effect God’s purpose for our lives which Romans 8:29 states is to be conformed to the image of his Son. At the same time we will be preparing to experience heaven for eternity at a higher level. In brainstorming how we are to be salt together in a bland, tasteless world we can see ways to grow our spirits, the deepest part of who we are, to be more like Jesus.
Hopefully, we have all listened to “Be Salt Together” at HeavenBeckons.com.
These are some of the possible benefits in heaven we will be seeking today by opening our minds to the Holy Spirit regarding being salt together in a bland, tasteless world.

We will be prepared when we get to heaven to add good things to one another’s lives.
In heaven, we will have a special connection with God to the extent that we made life better for those who were outside of the faith, as God has done since the Creation. We will be able to empathize with Him regarding how people without faith responded to His goodness, whether they appreciated it, rejected Him as the source, or paid no attention to how He made their lives better. We will have great joy in heaven helping those without sin and who always appreciate what we add to their lives. And, we will be very receptive to others who spice up our lives throughout eternity. |
We want our meeting to be safe and enjoyable. At other times and circumstances it might be appropriate for in-depth discussion, even loving confrontation. But these Matthew 18:20 Meetings are meant to listen to Jesus through the work of the Holy Spirit. Discussion is discouraged and expressed disagreement not helpful. What we each say needs to be uncensored so that the Holy Spirit can speak to one of us or all of us. This is somewhat like making a list of what all the foods we can prepare for a holiday dinner, but not deciding and letting time tell us what will be good.
Hopefully, many things we say and write down will urge us to Christlike change in our thinking, feelings and actions after we leave the meeting. We can each leave here to pray, hear specifically in our spirits from the Holy Spirit, and seek help from some of those in our Christian Inner Circle.
