The host of the “2 or 3 with Jesus Meeting” leads off by saying:
“In this meeting let’s eat some goodies and put our heads together to stimulate more change into the image of Jesus Christ. In so doing, we will be cooperating with the work of the Holy Spirit to effect God’s purpose for our lives which Romans 8:29 states is to be conformed to the image of his Son. At the same time we will be preparing to experience heaven for eternity at a higher level. In brainstorming how we are to serve one another we can see ways to grow our spirits, the deepest part of who we are, to be more like Jesus.
Hopefully, we have all listened to “Serve One Another” at HeavenBeckons.com.
These are some of the possible benefits in heaven we will be seeking today by opening our minds to the Holy Spirit regarding serving one another.

Sacrificial serving will develop our spirits and produce a servant heart. Thus, we will be qualified for a more responsible ministry in serving others in heaven.
Our relationship with Jesus will be more loyal to His sovereignty because before going to heaven we actually asked Him how He wanted us to serve others. We will be more practiced to ask Jesus what He wants us to do, how He wants us to serve others in heaven. |
We want our meeting to be safe and enjoyable. At other times and circumstances it might be appropriate for in-depth discussion, even loving confrontation. But these Matthew 18:20 Meetings are meant to listen to Jesus through the work of the Holy Spirit. Discussion is discouraged and expressed disagreement not helpful. What we each say needs to be uncensored so that the Holy Spirit can speak to one of us or all of us. This is somewhat like making a list of what all the foods we can prepare for a holiday dinner, but not deciding and letting time tell us what will be good.
Hopefully, many things we say and write down will urge us to Christlike change in our thinking, feelings and actions after we leave the meeting. We can each leave here to pray, hear specifically in our spirits from the Holy Spirit, and seek help from some of those in our Christian Inner Circle.
